Hop Hash - what is it?  Hop Hash is a very pungent hop powder that is collected after the pelletization process. During processing lupulin glands build up on the hammer mills which are then scraped to collect this potent product. A concentration of lupulin glands, Hop Hash contains a lot more of the good stuff, without all the vegetal mass. Very high in both acids and oils (16-32% AA / 2.8-4.5 ml/100g), this product packs a punch with a huge hop presence and a reduced green/grassy character.

We have a limited supply of Hop Hash in Idaho 7 and Crystal.  Sold in ounces.


These Hops now available:  



Idaho 7  a variety primarily for aroma and dry-hopping, but with high enough alpha acids to contribute good bitterness. 

Usage: Excellent as a single hop or as part of a blend for IPA, Pale Ale and hop-forward wheat beers. 

Aroma & Flavor Characteristics: Pungent tropical fruit and citrus (apricot, orange, red grapefruit, papaya) with big notes of resiny pine and hints of black tea.Can exhibit a “dank” undertone desirable for some American craft styles.        




Falconer's Flight An exclusive, proprietary hop blend developed by HopUnion in 2010 to honor the legacy of Northwest brewing legend Glen Hay Falconer. 

Usage:  Comprised of many of the Northwest's most unique hop varieties, including Citra, Simcoe and Sorachi Ace along with experimental hops.  Each variety was selected for it's superior aromatic qualities to impart distinct tropical, citrus, floral, lemon and grapefruit tones.  Provide an excellent complement to many IPAs and Pale Ales..

Aroma & Flavor Characteristics:  Moderate to strong.  Lovely and pungent whiffs of ripe fruit (peach) backed with bright notes of grapefruit, and a suggestion of tropical flowers and balsam, which can be brought forward with dry hopping.




Pacific Jade (NZ) a high alpha hop from New Zealand.

Usage:  Excellent results in dual-purpose applications, the smooth bitterness can allow the mouthfeel or flavor characteristics of other ingredients be featured without sacrificing hoppiness.  Nicely complements full, malty beers. 

Aroma:  Bold citrus and pepper aromas provided with soft bitterness, due to a low cohumulone content.


Horizon an excellent US dual-purpose hop.

Usage:  With a high alpha percentage and a low cohumulone content, ensures very smooth bitterness with good aromatic qualities. Widely used in craft breweries for a variety of styles. 

Aroma:  Has a desirable, delicate nose with floral and citrus notes.  







Medusa is one of the new US hops on the craft brewing scene, native to Colorado & New Mexico.  This is humulus lupulus newmexicanus, a slightly different variety.

Usage:  Excellent as an aroma hop in IPA's, Pale Ales or any beer looking for a strong aromatic.

Aroma:  Notes of intense guava, melon, apricot, and citrus fruit.
