Learn how to use BeerSmith to create your own home brew recipe, for all home brewing methods, including the GrainFather or another all-grain brew. Includes how to make adjustments to recipes to create desired IBU's and ABV, and how to save to the cloud to take your recipe with you on your phone or other device.

All Grain Brewing
Learn the basics of all-grain brewing and how it differs from extract & partial mash brews. Also see a demo of the Grain-Father All Grain brewing system. This system allows you to make a 5-gallon all-grain recipe in a small amount of space and simplifies your timing.
12:30 pm - 2 pm -
Learn the basics of how to follow a home brew recipe, for extract & partial mash brews. Also learn about gravity, including measuring gravity/ABV, pitching yeast, dry hopping. You will help make a 5 gallon batch. (This class will slightly overlap with the All-Grain Class immediately before.)
The Basic Brew Class will overlap with the end of the All-Grain Class which starts at 11 am. You are welcome to attend either, or both. Please feel free to leave to get lunch & return!
This class is $10 to attend. This includes a Handy Brew Guidebook, All-grain and/or Basic Brew demo & class, plus a General Beer Education class.
