BREW CLASSES ARE BACK!!

Saturday, August 26:

11 am – 12:30 pm – 

All Grain Brewing

Learn the basics of all-grain brewing and how it differs from extract & partial mash brews.  Also see a demo of the Grain-Father All Grain brewing system.  This system allows you to make a 5-gallon all-grain recipe in a small amount of space and simplifies your timing.  

 

12:15 pm – 2:30 pm –

Basic Brewing

Learn the basics of how to follow a home brew recipe, for extract & partial mash brews.  Also learn about gravity, including measuring gravity/ABV, pitching yeast, dry hopping.  You will help make a 5 gallon batch.  (This class will slightly overlap with the All-Grain Class immediately before.)  

Class Format:

 The Basic Brew Class will overlap with the end of the All-Grain Class which starts at 10 am.  You are welcome to attend either, or both.  Please feel free to leave to get lunch & return!  

 

This class is $10 to attend.  This includes a Handy Brew Guidebook, All-grain and/or Basic Brew demo & class, plus a General Beer Education class.
